As part of Dubai Summer Surprises, Al Seef hosts a variety of activities for all ages every weekend, as well as discounts at retail and food and beverage outlets. There is football-themed entertainment including photo sessions with football props and cut-outs, balloon artists, bubble shows and kids’ dance performances. There are also outdoor movie screenings and giant board games, including Scrabble and dominoes.

Black Tap has opened in Yas Mall, bringing its popular burgers and milkshakes to the capital. Indulge in menu favourites such as the Greg Norman burger and Californian burger, as well as salads, wings, tacos and vegan dishes. But the stars of the show are the Instagrammable Crazy-Shakes, including Cookies ‘n Cream Supreme, Cotton Candy, and the Cake Shake, which comes with a slice of cake.

DUBAI THEATRE CAMP
The Courtyard Playhouse hosts the Little Monsters Theatre Summer Camp for kids aged 4 to 7. Each day of the week, campers will explore a different book by Julia Donaldson: The Singing Mermaid, The Rhyming Rabbit, Paper Dolls, Sharing a Shell and Super Worm. The stories will be the inspiration for drama games, mime, role play and arts and crafts.

DUBAI ZINE WORKSHOP
The independent digital artistic platform Jaffat El Aqlam presents a workshop on zines, a new form of expression in print media. Teenagers and adults will learn about the short, selfpublished works comprising collages created from old magazines, journal entries
and books, as well as unconventional items such as washi tape (the Japanese equivalent of masking tape), glitter, stickers and more. Participants are encouraged to bring materials to use to make their own zines.

Vogue Fitness presents a summer kids camp, where children aged 4 to 13 can enjoy action-packed days of fitness and events led by top trainers. Book tickets to see Irish hypnotist and mentalist of Keith Barry, who will hack into the minds of his audience in two shows at McGettigan’s JLT. Barry claims to be able to reveal the audience’s innermost secrets such as their passwords and bank account numbers. He worked as a consultant mentalist on the Woody Harrelson movie Now You See Me, and its sequel.
