Honeywell to help UAE be more sustainable

The Federal Electricity and Water Authority signed a preliminary agreement with Honeywell, a leader in Industrial Internet of Things technologies for buildings, to drive sustainable development and green economy initiatives in the Northern Emirates. The deal will help to boost energy savings of between 10 and 30 per cent across public sector buildings by 2021. The organisations will determine a Proof of Value, focusing particularly on Honeywell’s next-generation solutions that enable significant energy savings and adhere to sustainable environmental guidelines. These technologies include building management systems, energy management dashboards and energy performance contracting.
