Webjet acquires Dubai travel booking site

Webjet, a Melbourne digital travel business, has acquired Dubai travel booking site Destinations of the World for $173 million from Abu Dhabi private equity company Gulf Capital, making it one of the largest technology exits to date in the Middle East. The company will join the portfolio of Webjet’s travel provider WebBeds. Gulf Capital’s management team will retain a share in the Webjet Group.
