War-torn Kosovo, published on July 28, 2019, contained several one-sided statements and reported stories presented without witnessing the events.
The article, we believe, unintentionally coincides with the opening of the trial against Albanian suspects before the Special Court for the Kosovo Liberation Army War Crimes in The Hague.
It also contained a map in which Serbia was shown without Vojvodina, the autonomous province of Serbia, and the territories of Albania, Kosovo and Metohija appear in the same colour, implying the creation of a “Greater Albania” state. I would like to remind your readers that Kosovo is not a member of the United Nations.
The Republic of Serbia is committed to peacefully resolving the question of its southern province and we do not want to endanger the stability of our region by addressing it in any other way.
The Brussels Dialogue has been on pause through no fault of our own.
This conflict resulted in casualties on both sides.
The blame is individual, and all who have committed crimes are being held accountable for them before the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
