I love Mad because of the special charisma it possesses as well as the futuristic design of the club.

Mad has been designed as a round bar so everyone can enjoy the 360° digital projections in the club.

Every Sunday we have a Single’s Traffic Jam, which entails a complimentary bar for the ladies, fun music by our resident DJ Neil T, as well as props including red, green, yellow bracelets handed out at the door, which signal a person’s relationship status. We’ve hosted a lot of artists as part of ladies’ night, including Ne-Yo, Tinashe and Eve.

Apart from Mad, my favourite bar in Abu Dhabi is Iris Yas Island because of their professionalism and the preparation of their drinks.

The question I get asked most is: “Do you have a phone charger?”

I have served a lot of celebrities. Pierce Brosnan was on vacation in Montenegro and he came to my bar asking for a drink. I had a small chat with him and he is a really cool guy. At MAD on Yas Island, I’ve served T-Pain, Jason Derulo, Jeremih, Tinashe and Tinie Tempah.

The best bar I’ve ever been to is the Dead Rabbit in New York. It left a great impression on me.

If I weren’t a bartender I’d be a sports coach. I am active in the gym and sports are a great passion of mine.

Sinco Pa Ti are a five-piece band featuring Cuban and Colombian musicians and they play everything from old-school Cuban classics to the latest salsa dancing numbers. See them perform on Thursday and Friday evenings, as well as during Friday brunch.
