The mini but mighty Ajman emirate is the latest location to host home-grown adventure obstacle race, the Desert Warrior Challenge. The event takes place on March 24 at Al Zorah Marina 1. Typically, The Desert Warrior Challenge is a 20K slog; this one is a slicker 5K version, but the organisers promise even more physically demanding obstacles such as ‘ The Warrior Zip’, ‘Marine Madness Zone’ and the ‘Chimney’. Children aged six to 15 years can also test their mettle at one of the two junior courses. March 24
