Explore the Butterfly trail

With scavenger map in hand, young explorers can learn new facts about the mountain and its inhabitants, while taking part in an array of activities along the way. Start at Alila hotel’s lobby, pick up the butterfly trail markers and prepare for a leisurely 3km walk around the grounds. On the expedition, you’ll spot geological markers of the rising and falling of seas, and see the results of how the slow but persistent push of the continents has shaped the area. Guided tours are free and take place every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 4pm.
