Comedyfest in JLT

-

In a bid to set the year off with a side-splitting start, some of Ireland’s funniest comedians are flying in for the annual Comedyfest at McGettigan’s in JLT. Headlining the two-day event is Al Porter, the 23-year-old stand-up whose flashy style and appearance on Live At The Apollo has made him a name on the UK and Irish comedy circuit.

Returning to the Dubai comedy festival is Limerick comedian Karl Spain, a self-deprecating comic who’s toured with big names such as Kevin Bridges and Ed Byrne. Joining him is Kevin McGahern, who’s best known in Ireland for hosting the Republic Of Telly, a TV review show. Tickets cost Dhs50 and that includes a free drink or BBQ burger. January 12 and 13
