Not a lot of people get their big break at 52, unless you’re businessman Ray Kroc (Michael Keaton). When the washed-up salesman stumbles upon a successful burger joint called McDonald’s, he sees his golden-arched opportunity. Kroc’s ruthless takeover of the familyrun operation remains controversial and Keaton doesn’t hold back – but in this new fast food era filled with Fatburger and Five Guys, this biopic only reminds us how the world’s largest restaurant chain has struggled to keep up.
