No rest for the wicked at Blue Marlin

Speaking in clubbing terms, January is usually a relatively quiet affair; try telling that to Dubai institution Blue Marlin. The beachfront club is giving the January detox a firm bodyswerve with their usual go big or go home line-ups, and the pick of the bunch this month is the pairing of Cologne duo Andhim and much-loved Danish artist Noir on Friday, January 20.

Andhim’s massive crossover hit Boy Boy Boy propelled the pair to the top of the charts and straight into top DJs’ playlists. Featuring a sample from the Bee Gees’ track I Surrender, this soundtracked many a hazy day on the White Isle when it dropped in the summer of 2013.

The equally in-demand Noir has been travelling the world ever since his breakthrough track Money For Nothing dropped on Toolroom Records. Like Andhim, a crossover hit has helped him in his bid for stardom. January 20
