Sculptures
An eclectic collection of sculptures made of bronze, stone, wood and glass are on display in Tony Cragg’s first solo exhibition in the UAE. Liverpool-born Cragg is one of the world’s best-known contemporary sculptors, and his unique method relies on tacking, layering and heaping different types of materials and everyday objects to arrive at unexpected interpretations. The exhibition, at the Leila Heller Gallery in Al Quoz, features 18 new works and finishes with glassworks made in Murano, Venice. Until March 6

5. Receiving And Collecting
Conceptual Emirati artist Mohammed Kazem continues his attempts to “capture the un-capturable” in his newest solo exhibition, Receiving And Collecting. Initially trained as a musician, Kazem often focuses on “visual sound” in his works, which encompass video, photography and performance to find new ways of apprehending his environment and experiences. His latest artistic questions? What does sound look like, and what does light feel like? Until February 23
