Get ready to rediscover a tale as old as time

Other than the obvious dollar signs, why Disney would want to mess with one of their most beloved animated fairytales is anyone’s guess – especially since the huge risk doesn’t entirely pay off. Sure, the 21st century effects dazzle and the sweeping ballroom dance sequence is a cinematic triumph, but Belle (Emma Watson) and Beast’s (Dan Stevens) romance falls flat.
