Known as the festival of colours, Holi is celebrated by Hindus around the world to welcome spring, the season of love. Traditionally, the coloured powders made with medicinal herbs are playfully thrown at fellow revellers while celebrating around a bonfire. The festival breaks boundaries between age, gender and caste and brings people together for a light-hearted and vibrant event. March 13
