I’ve been lucky to work at a few prestigious places in Moscow, including City Space Bar, one of the top ten bars in the world. I moved here to expand my skillset in a more international market.

The years spent training in Russia have really helped me in creating new concoctions using local herbs, spices, fruits and vegetables. The secret lies in sharing your passion with your guests, understanding the art of combining fruits, herbs and spirits, and making that cocktail your creation.

I love creating homemade syrups to add flair and authenticity to the taste of my cocktails. I am always eager to handpick my fruits at the local market.

The downside to being a mixologist is that my cocktails may not please everyone’s palate. I’ll keep trying until my guest is content.

If you want to get served in a busy bar, show the bartender some respect. Appreciate the hard work and passion.

I have served well-known figures. I’ve even had the opportunity to serve the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
