A12-hour-long music festival closes Dubai’s digital conference

As Dubai’s annual Step conference – a valuable source of insight into the world of entertainment, technology and digital advances in the UAE – continues to grow so too does the music programme attached to the event. So much so that this year’s event ends with a 12-hour music festival featuring awesome talent from throughout the Middle East. Step Music will feature 17 of the region’s best acts across a range of genres including indie rock, hip hop, electronic music and pop, all performing only original music. We’ll be cheering extra loudly for UAE-based artists Malikah, The Recipe, Moh Flow, Ester Eden, Saffron Collins and Pimms Brooke. “We believe there is enough musical talent in the region to front a festival without having to bring in international commercial headliners,” said Step Music curator Big Hass.
