CIPRIANI

-

The elegant Italian restaurant has quite a legacy to live up to. Cipriani dates back to the legendary Harry’s Bar in Venice, which was opened by Guiseppe Cipriani in 1931, and today there are branches in New York, Hong Kong, Monte Carlo and Abu Dhabi. Try the burrata alla Mediterranea (Dhs95), a huge slab of creamy cheese with a meltin-the-mouth centre that could easily be shared between two. It’s served with a side of delicious tomatoes (not an easy thing to come by in Dubai) and fresh herbs. One of Cipriani’s most famous dishes, the signature baked white tagliolini (Dhs90), is the ultimate in high-end comfort food, with meaty strips of turkey ham, generous lashings of Parmesan and fresh tagliolini pasta baked in a rich béchamel sauce.
