Abra Afternoon Tea

It’s as close to Venice as you’ll get within a half-hour drive, and those Venetian gondoliers don’t even serve you scones. The two-hour experience at the Madinat, however, offers just that. You’ll board an abra and sail the canals of the Madinat Jumeirah. Along with a welcome drink, the abra is laden with an array of sweet and savoury treats, soft drinks and tea. It’s a relaxing way to watch the sun set, with some of the best views of the Burj Al Arab, and explore the nooks and crannies of the Madinat. Lads, just remember: if your shoelace is untied, leave it – unless you actually have a ring in your pocket.
