Shorter hair? Don’t care! Having broken up with Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), newly single Thor (Chris Hemsworth) isn’t having much luck with the ladies. His initial encounter with Hela (Cate Blanchett) – the Norse goddess of death and Marvel’s first female baddie – leaves him without his trusty hammer and shorn of his signature blonde locks. And when he meets warrior Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Thor’s love game plummets from weak to fan boy. As you can probably tell, this threequel has a lighter, Guardians vibe, but audiences will quickly warm to this superhero makeover.
