Although it’s beautifully rendered with a rich colourful palette, the bare bones of the plot lets this adventure down.
his biker mum, played by peak-’80s Cher? Well, swap Cher for peak-stepmom Julia Roberts and you get Wonder, about a mother sending her ten-year-old boy – who has undergone 27 facial surgeries – to school for the first time. An instant classic.
