What inspired you to become a dancer?

As a child, I was completely obsessed with MJ. I was mesmerised with the ways he could effortlessly express himself through movement. If I’m honest, I was a little bit in love with him.

What are you most looking forward to about performing at Inner City Zoo?

The visuals, lighting and sound in this venue are off the scale. The vibe inside is enough to make anyone want to dance.

What can you tell us about the live acts?

As the entertainment manager at Inner City Zoo, I always envisioned a high- energy show. I didn’t want costumes to overshadow talent. My girls can move, just wait and see. They are strong, individual and super sassy.

Which celebrity would you like to see dancing in Inner City Zoo?

Michael Jackson is my obvious choice, although I might spontaneously combust if he was in the same building.

What’s your signature move?

I wiggle like Shakira…

Aside from Inner City Zoo, where are your favourite places to dance in Dubai?

Anywhere. Last week it was dancing in the desert… this morning it was in my PJs waiting for the kettle to boil.

What’s your spirit animal?

I’m a jaguar – mysterious, fast and, on occasion, dangerous.
