Sandy Beach in Al Aqah, Fujairah is more than worth the two-hour drive from Dubai. The Dhs130 entrance fee (Dhs80 for those aged 4-10) gives you access to a sunbed either on the beach or around the newly renovated pool, as well as to the changing room facilities. The best bit? It’s the only place you can easily snorkel or kayak straight off the beach to the famous Snoopy Island and spot a variety of marine life including turtles.
