Heroes Reborn Season 1 ( 2015-) ( TV- 14) The original Heroes TV show started off with a bang and left behind disappointed fans when it flamed out after only four seasons. In recognition of the fact that it was, indeed, a brilliant story, but not well- executed ( towards the end, that is), NBC has brought it back, this time with a whole new cast. Much like the original show, Heroes Reborn follows the intertwining lives of strangers who discover they have superhuman abilities. There are some who use these powers for good, and some who want to harness powers for evil purposes. The fun begins when they start to cross each other. Duration: 1 3 episodes x 50 minutes Genre: Drama/ Fantasy/ Sci- Fi What’s good: Bringing in much- loved original characters What’s bad: Does not live up to former glory Cast: Jack Coleman, Zachary Levi, Robbie Kay Rating: Sisters ( 2015) ( R) Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are some of the funniest female celebs out there, so there’s bound to be interest in a film that pairs them together. The movie introduces us to Maura ( Poehler), an overly responsible nurse, and her sister Kate ( Fey), an unorganised stylist, who has just been kicked out of her apartment. When the duo’s parents decide to sell the family house, they go home to help with packing — but Kate convinces Maura to throw one last soirée. This is a party unlike any other and, as things go insane, you’ll understand why they say adults are really overgrown children!
