£110 Do the gym shoes deliver?

They made their name in the expanse of the northern fells, but the All Train 215 from Inov-8 are firmly positioned as an indoor gym shoe. They don’t do anything very well, but that hasn’t stopped us from barely taking them off since they arrived, using them for daily wear, the odd outdoor 5km, and gym treadmill/strength/spin bike sets. That versatility is down to the comfort and ventilation, light weight (215g) and adequate grip, not to mention the fine looks (once we swapped the lurid laces). While they were fine for our measly strength workouts, any hardened S&C athlete wanting more stability and less outsole flex should look elsewhere. But as a jack-of-all-trades (we largely mean that in a good way) we’re 215 fans. MB inov-8.com
