£575 One of the original super suits, Blueseventy’s Helix is now in its sixth version. New for 2018 is ‘Lift’ tech, with some NBR foam placed at the back of the legs between the neoprene and liner to give the feeling of a ‘downhill’ position. We wouldn’t go that far, but the Helix indeed makes you feel powerful in the water and has superb upperbody flex thanks to 1.5mm shoulder panels. The 5-5-4 buoyancy ratio has remained to create a suit that gives plenty of lift. It retains a breakaway zipper, and a split section in the chest so your breathing isn’t restricted.
