ON RUNNING CLOUDACE
After partnering with Tim Don for his ‘The Man with the Halo’ doc, On Running are back with their new Cloudace
On Running designed the Cloudace with one clear objective: to produce the ultimate cushioning sensation without slowing you down, something that’s troubled running shoe designers since the 1960s.
In a bid to do this, On have created their most advanced Cloudtec sole, featuring liquid injection on the wide speedboard and 14 ‘Zero-Gravity Clouds’ on the outsole aimed at maximising energy transfer throughout each phase of running. For those of us who have struggled with the heel area in existing On shoes, there’s an all-new heel area boasting precision-molded 3D heel pads and an abrasion-free Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) counter. The weight comes in at 335g and the heel-to-toe drop is a low 7mm.
