OPTIMISE YOUR SESSION

SWAP SHOES

To protect your favourite race shoes for longer, try warming up in a pair of comfier and more durable shoes, and then change into your race shoes for the main set.

DO A DECENT WARM-UP

It’s really important to get properly warmed up before this session begins. So make sure you allow plenty of time for running drills and glute activation at the start.

FIND SOME RUN BUDDIES

As well as physically, this type of run session can be quite tough psychologi­cally. You can make it easier on yourself by completing it with your friends and clubmates.
