£59.99 These lighter-than-light women’s running shorts (132g) from Gore feel barely-there when you pull them on, with a very breathable polyester/polyamide and elastane mix giving good stretch and comfort. The 3.1-inch inseam means they’re at the skimpier end of Gore’s women’s shorts range, which’ll be appreciated if you prefer your running kit to be barely-there for training or racing. We did find that the inner shorts rode up as we ran, though, bunching up at the top of our thighs. This is a real bugbear of ours with this style of shorts and yet, as the material is so light, in this case it was irritating rather than uncomfortable.
