What can we say about Mike Calvert’s eclectic duo history wise? Well, there is little to connect them, save for turbocharging. Back in 1981, when Porsche built a limited run of 924 Carrera GTS for homologation purposes, the Turbo was still something of a novelty and the Carrera GT, with its 210bhp, was a rare and exotic machine, completely changing the 924’s image and paving the way for the 944.

The 996 Turbo was a gamechanger when launched in 2000, blending supercar performance with unrivalled practicality. Mike’s car is further enhanced with Techart goodies.
