CCTV ap­peal af­ter two shop thefts

PO­LICE have re­leased pic­tures of two peo­ple they want to speak to fol­low­ing sep­a­rate shoplift­ing in­ci­dents in Ac­cring­ton.

The first ap­peal fol­lows the theft of al­co­hol from Cost­cut­ters in­side the BP petrol sta­tion on Hyn­d­burn Road.

A man re­moved two bot­tles of wine and bot­tles of Archers and WKD from shelves.

The in­ci­dent hap­pened at around 1.45am on Wed­nes­day, July 15.

A sec­ond theft hap­pened at the Ar­gos store on Black­burn Road be­tween 5.40pm and 5.45pm on Fri­day, July 24.

Po­lice said a man took three power charg­ers and left with­out pay­ing.
