A ‘POTIONS class’ is set to take place in Huncoat.

The science activity day will take place at Huncoat Children’s Centre for children up to the age of 11.

Booking is essential for the class which will take place on Wednesday, August 19 from 1pm to 2.30pm.

The class is £2 per child.

BAXENDEN Community Forum is set to host a woodland walk.

Residents are invited to take part in the walk which will take place around Baxenden and Woodnook on August 1.

Forum member Roger Cunliffe will lead the walk which will meet at the Haworth Art Gallery at 1pm.

Residents are advised to wear suitable footwear and clothing.

A KARAOKE evening is set to take place at Baxenden Village Conservative Club.

The evening was due to start at 9.45pm on July 30. The club is also advertising its venue for hire. Call 07989 141357 for more details.
