A FAMILY walking treasure hunt has been organised by Churchfield House and Great Harwood Civic Society.

It will start from Churchfield House on Friday, August 7 at 6pm and is a circular 60-minute walk around the town.

Entry costs £3 per family and hot dog refreshments are included.

A SERIES of free activities for children aged four to 11 has been organised at Great Harwood Library.

A story writing session will be held on Friday, July 31 and a ‘design a book cover’ event will be on Monday, August 10. Both are from 3pm to 4pm.
