Food is donated at show
A ROCKY Monster show was performed by year 5 and 6 students from Rishton St Charles primary school.
Around 200 people attended the event and instead of charging an entry fee, they asked visitors to donate food for the local food bank.
Headteacher Vivien Baker said the idea came from one of the pupils.
She said: “The response has been absolutely amazing and we will need help to transport the food over to the food bank in Great Harwood.
“St Charles’ families have really pulled out all the stops to support this important local charity.”
