Staff treated to lunch
TEACHING staff discovered there is such a thing as a free lunch thanks to a Clayton-leMoors bakery.
Karen Clayton and eight of her colleagues at Hyndburn Park Primary School won a range of delicious sandwiches and cakes after winning Clayton Park Bakery’s competition to celebrate British Sandwich Week.
Karen, who nominated her colleagues, said: “Our staff work really hard so they deserved a treat – it was a lovely surprise to find out we had won.”
The hard working teaching staff at Hyndburn Park clearly enjoyed their welldeserved prize and shared their loot with some deserving pupils too.
Brian Ashworth, general manager the Bakery, said: “Karen and her colleagues were very deserving winners.”
