ROCHDALE manager Keith Hill has heaped praise on John Coleman and expects him to have an extremely successful season with Accrington.

The Reds picked up a 1-0 victory over Hill’s side on Tuesday, and the Dale boss was impressed with what he saw.

“I’ve got a lot of respect for John Coleman and I think Accrington will do really well this year,” he said.

“They have got a really good young squad and they develop players. They’re in your face and it’s a great way to play.

“From an opposition point of view, I don’t think we could have got a better opponent.

“I love a lot of what Stanley are about. They’re honest and they’ve got really good commitment.

“It just shows you that every opposition has a heart-beat and you’ve got to applaud Accrington for that and I’m sure that they will win a lot of games this season.”
