Introducti­on to Furniture Upcycling.

Where / when is it?:

Training Centre, Works Building, Oak Hill Park Saturday, June 11 and 18, 2016 10-1pm

What does it involve?:

Join Madeline Spear and learn the basics of upcycling wooden objects using chalk paint techniques. Upcycle a picture frame, mirror, candlestic­k, lamp, small tray, stool or pete coffee table. Taking part in Hobby, Arts and Crafts is a great way to interact with others in the community while boosting creative skills. The emphasis is on recycle, reduce, reuse, remake and crafts from waste materials. Both sessions must be attended to complete.

Who is it suitable for?:

Anyone interested in arts, crafts and furniture.

Any more informatio­n?:

Booking is essential, bring your own item to upcycle and an apron and gloves. If you have an idea for working with materials such as wood, metals, ceramics or glass we would like to hear from you. We are also looking for tutors.
