THE annual RSPCA Dogs Day Out will return again to Altham next month.

The animal centre on Enfield Road is inviting dog owners to bring along their pets and enjoy dog shows, arena displays and other attraction­s for families young and old.

It will take place on Sunday, July 31 from 11am to 4pm.

A MAD Hatter’s Tea Party has been organised at Altham St James CE primary school.

There will be a special parade of Mad Hatter hats designed and made by the juniors and the event will also include coffee and cakes, stalls, raffles and games.

All proceeds will go to the school fund and the British Heart Foundation.

It will take place on Friday, July 8 from 2pm to 4pm.

ST Mary’s RC primary school in Clayton-le-Moors will hold its Key Stage Two production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream on Wednesday, July 13. Tickets cost £2 per seat.

A FAMILY bingo night run by the PTFA at All Saints primary school in Clayton-leMoors has raised over £400.

The school will hold its summer fair on Friday, July 8 from 3.30pm to 6.30pm.

ALL Saints Church will hold an activity day in the school grounds on Tuesday, August 23, for children aged five to 11 years old.

POLICE are holding drop-in sessions every Wednesday at 2pm at The Annex on Barnes Square.
