YOUR ACTOR
Name:
Cameron Henderson.
Hometown:
Oswaldtwistle.
Are you involved in any productions at the moment?:
Yes, I am currently involved in a play for Oswaldtwistle Players called The Merry Wives of Windsor, written by William Shakespeare. It is a very funny comedy and I play the role of Abraham Slender, who is a clumsy and dopey fellow who always looks to his uncle for advice. I did my first ever play for Oswaldtwistle Players in 2014, playing multiple characters in The Wyrd Sisters by Terry Pratchett. It is great fun as everyone gets along with each other and helps each other with their lines.
What do you most enjoy?:
I also enjoy working behind the scenes of theatre and being on stage every moment I get the chance to. I am a very confident individual and can tackle any role which is given to me.
Have you been in any other productions?:
I have been in many, many productions. My first ever production was Cinders, a modern day version of Cinderella, where I played a character called Princeton. I started doing drama and musical theatre when I was nine years old.
Who is your favourite actor and why?:
My favourite actor is the Les Misérables actor who played Javert: Hayden Tee. His perception and creativity in bringing Javert to life was remarkable. Hopefully, someday I would like to come as far as he has.
If you could play any part what would it be and why?:
I enjoyed playing Enjolras in Les Misérables in June 2016 but I always wanted to play Aladdin in Aladdin because I love to perform in pantomime around Christmas time for the funny atmosphere. It is my favourite area of performing arts.
Any other information?:
Make sure you buy tickets to this funny and rib-tickling show. It’s going to be fun and weird at the same time but you’ll enjoy yourself. Come along and watch Shakespeare’s most comical characters come to life.
