TIME TRIP

THIS week’s Time-trip takes a look back at events in Accrington in 2008.

Locals can be seen enjoying a fancy dress murder mystery night and celebrating milestone birthdays.

In our weekly Timetrip feature, we publish a set of pictures taken by Accrington Observer photographers which appeared in the paper in the 2000s. They can be seen first on our website and are then reprinted in the paper.

This week’s first picture (above) shows Lisa North’s 21st birthday party at The Stanley Club.

The second picture (right) is of Tracy Burgin’s 40th birthday party at The Regency, Accrington.

Then we also have shots (bottom right and below) of Cafe Rene’s Allo Allo-themed murder mystery event, organised by Accrington Golf Club’s ladies section.
