Spate of fly-tipping reports provokes council action
A SERIES of fly-tipping incidents have been cleared following complaints by residents.
Mattresses, wardrobes and fridges were left dumped in the Marlborough Road and Ramsbottom Street areas of Accrington.
Hyndburn council said after the items were reported waste enforcement officers visited the site looking for ‘any evidence to hopefully help towards prosecution and fines for individuals who chose to dump waste on Hyndburn streets.’
