TRIBUTES to former Rhyddings maths teacher Malcolm Hargreaves. Malcolm, who died on April 17, taught at the school for 31 years before retiring in 2013 (Observer April 28 and website) Laura Buckel: I remember him. What a shame, RIP Mr Hargreaves, sadly be missed. He wasn’t my maths teacher but was a very polite man. Rachel S McClure: A really good teacher, always calm and if I remember rightly a really good guitar player... RIP Mr Hargreaves x Sarah Jane Bryant: My mate. Never got chance to say bye to you or Susan. Am sorry. Rest easy now, the pain’s gone. Christophe­r Mount: That’s a real shame. He was my maths teacher. I despised the subject but thought a lot of him. Tracey Larkin: I don’t remember him but it’s sad news. RIP Mr Hargreaves. Sally Gray: Very good teacher, God bless. LOVING grandson thanks inspiratio­nal nan Barbara Blackburn. Kathryn was my much loved friend and godmother to my daughter Connie, and we think about her often. She is a kind and generous person who deserves all the praise. Deborah Phillips: How lovely, I remember Kathryn from school/ Cambridge St brownies/guides, Connell has obviously grown up to be a mature young man with this special lady’s support and strength. Gwen Webster: Barbara and myself used to work at Peel House and Kath- ryn used to call in to see us on her way home from school. I still remember Barbara’s blackcurra­nt jelly, yummy.
