VOLUNTEERING at Haworth Art Gallery is an excellent way to build confidence, learn new skills and make new friends.
As such, we are thrilled that three of our regular volunteers have gone on to find paid employment, both in the UK and abroad, but we will miss them very much!
Therefore we are looking to expand our volunteer base and would be happy to hear from anyone who would like to join our team. Would you like to be involved in the development of the amazing Haworth Art Gallery?
Haworth Art Gallery volunteers support our gallery assistants to welcome visitors to the gallery when they arrive, help out with the shop and lend a hand with weddings and events.
There are also opportunities to help with exhibition change- overs, taking down and hanging pictures, behind-the-scenes documentation and assisting with workshops.
No two days are the same at Haworth Art Gallery and there are always new events on the horizon!
All volunteers receive full training and shadow experienced staff to expand their skills.

The gallery is open Tuesday to Friday noon to 4.45pm, Saturday, Sunday 12 noon to 4.15pm, closed all day Monday, free entrance and parking. For all the latest information on events at the Haworth check out the Haworth Art Gallery page on Facebook.
The Gallery Kitchen is open for lunch and afternoon tea Tuesday to Sunday from noon to 4.30pm and every Friday and Saturday evening from 5.30pm to 11pm, with a delicious bistro menu. Telephone 01254 491660 to book a table.
