Firm to take on more recruits
TELECOMS giant BT has announced plans to train ‘more apprentices than ever before’ at their Accrington contact centre.
The company will team up with apprenticeship training provider Interserve Learning & Employment to recruit and train more apprentices this year.
The first successful group of applicants will start in BT’s Accrington contact centre at the Globe Centre next month, where they will kick-start their careers with the telecoms group.
BT bosses said the introduction of the apprenticeship levy has allowed the company to ‘further maximise apprenticeship opportunities available to current employees as well as new recruits’.
BT said more than 300 people across the UK are set to benefit from the Level 2 Customer Service.
