GALLERY CORNER

- YVONNE ROBINS

HAWORTH Art Gallery is pleased to welcome back the ever-popular Les Bond who will be performing his own special brand of music and comedy on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at 2pm.

Ex-Fire Officer Les, is no stranger to the stage, having performed with the Likes of Isla St. Claire, Julie Felix, Norman Prince and Bernard Wrigley, to name but a few.

His solid Set of Comedy Songs, wise-cracks and award-winning monologues have had audiences in stitches throughout the County and beyond, for many years. Built on his love of music, humour and rhyme, Les loves the interaction with the audience and the laughter his self-penned songs provoke.

“I am really excited at the prospect of performing at a venue that is dear to my heart.” says Les. “It has a lovely atmosphere and is just the perfect setting for small intimate concerts”.

Find out how Sarsaparilla puts new life in your fellah, or how Ken Dodd’s Dad’s Dog died, or the real reason why Hitler didn’t Invade Britain, join Les, at Haworth Art Gallery for an hour of Musical Comedy and Mirth.
