HEAVYWEIGHT boxer Adam Machaj is set for a speedy return to the ring when he competes on a bill in Blackpool next month.

Machaj will fight at the Winter Gardens on Saturday 15 July, with the event set to be shown live on BoxNation.

The 29-year-old had his first fight for seven months in May when he impressively knocked out Tom Dallas inside two rounds at the Bolton Whites Hotel.

That saw Machaj extend his record to nine wins and two defeats, with seven of his victories coming by stoppage.

He will hope to add another win in Blackpool, and it is set to be a packed bill full of talent.

Hometown favourite Jack Arnfield will defend his WBA international middleweight title as he looks to continue his career resurgence.

Since losing to Nick Blackwell for the British title back in 2015, Arnfield has beaten the likes of Brian Rose, John Ryder and Mick Hall. He now will fight in his hometown of Blackpool for the first time in over two years.

Another title fight on the bill sees unbeaten Ryan Mulcahy face Ben Wager for the vacant Central Area lightwelterweight title.

A number of young prospects are in action too, including Nathan Gorman, Alex McCloy, Mark Jeffers, Jack Cullen, James Moorcroft and Ross Cooksey.

Tickets are priced at £35 for standard seats or £60 for ringside seats and are available from VIPboxing. tv or direct from the boxers themselves.
