CAR TORCHED

ARSONISTS are being blamed for torching a car in Great Harwood.

Firefighters from Blackburn were called to Blackburn Road at around 1.50am on Thursday, June 15, to reports that a parked car had been ‘deliberately set alight’.

Fire crews used a hose reel to put out the blaze. No casualties were reported.

A Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Police were notified of the suspected arson.”
