SHEILA ORMEROD

MRS Sheila Ormerod, of Dill Hall Lane, Church, died on Friday, June 16 at Springhill Care Home, aged 78.

Retiring 15 years ago, her early working life included working at Mullards and Rist Wires.

She later became the landlady of the Wellington Inn at Church followed by stewardess of the Pioneer Working Men’s Club. She was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother (nan).

Wife of the late Joseph, she leaves brother Tom and sister-in-law Audrey, sons Michael, Stephen and Andrew, daughters-in-law Helene, Janet, Lorraine and Theresa. She also leaves grandchildren Dominic, Michaela, Emma, David, Darren and Kirsty, together with great-grandchildren Matthew and Madison.

Her funeral will take place at 11am on Monday, June 26, at Accrington Crematorium, followed by cremation. Family flowers only please, however donations, if desired, requested for Macmillan Cancer Support.
