Oswaldtwistle Civic Arts Centre.

When is it?: Friday, August 11, 6.30pm – 9.30pm.

Who is it suitable for?:

Men and women 18 years and over with a learning disability who are looking to meet new people.

What does it involve:

Meet ‘N’ Match, the friendship and dating agency for people with a learning disability, are calling on local people to join their monthly event night in Oswaldtwistle. They have a series of fun themed events planned, including 70s and 80s nights, Hawaiian Night, and a Hollywood Party and are inviting more people with learning disabilities to join them in enjoying a fun night out. The innovative idea is from Lancashire-based, The U-Night Group, which provides various events and parties for people with physical and learning disabilities, alongside its dating agency element.

The group also run a monthly Pub Night Out at the Black Dog Pub on Union Road in Oswaldtwistle (pictured below), the next event – which is free entry - takes place on Wednesday, August 30, 6.30pm – 9pm.
