Sunshine greeted happy day

GLORIOUS sunshine accompanie­d the wedding of Alexander Jones to Laura Dutton.

The groom is the only son of Ralph and Sandra Jones, of Accrington, and the bride is the only daughter of Ann and the late Clive Dutton, of Northwich, Cheshire.

The bride was given away at Cranage Hall, Cheshire by her brother Stuart.

She wore a white satin semi-fitted gown with flowing skirt and long train and full length veil all overlaid with lacy embroidery and carried long stemmed white lilies.

Nephews James Foskett and brother Ricky Foskett from London were joint best men.

A Cadbury-themed affair, bridesmaid­s Lynne Turnbull and Lily Isherwood wore Greekstyle gowns of purple, flower girl Phoebe Bantock in white with purple sash, and pageboy Sammy Bantock in silver grey and white shirt (to match the gentlemen in Silver Grey tails) and acted as cushion bearer for the rings. All girls carried posies of purple and white flowers.

Sisters of the groom, Debbie Foskett and Natalie Poole, plus Jamie Isherwood from the bride’s family, all gave special readings.

The reception and evening soiree was held at Cranage and the couple will honeymoon in Mexico before returning to live in Northwich, Cheshire.

Family and friends travelled from London, Blackpool, Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cheshire to attend.
