Bald new treatment to put an end to hair loss

FOR many people going bald means losing their confidence as well as their hair.
Now residents in Hyndburn are being given the option to have a ‘hair tattoo’ – a non-surgical solution for any form of hair loss and scar camouflage which applies to different lengths of hair.
Local entrepreneur Joseph Lanzante, who runs three barbers shops, has now launched JL Aesthetics to offer the treatment at Petre Court in Clayton-le-Moors to help men and women regain their lost confidence.
And he is so impressed with the treatment that he has even done it himself.
Joseph, who trained as a practitioner at Harley Street and once ran his own chain of 12 successful hair salons, will use the micropigmentation technique to help give the illusion of thicker and fuller hair by ‘infilling gaps’. Joseph said the clinic, which is creating five new jobs, can also benefit cancer patients as well as people with alopecia and scarring.
He said: “I have always tried to stay ahead of emerging trends and now people are looking for more permanent solutions to their insecurities. The micropigmentation clinic will help anyone and everyone who wants to see thicker hair or reduced scarring.”
Joseph, who is one of the top barber trainers in the UK through his successfully training academy at Walmsley Court in Clayton-le-Moors, added: “I trained in this industry because I wanted to help people feel their very best and I believe these latest treatments will be a great success in the world of beauty and cosmetics.”
Micropigmentation is similar to the method of tattooing where the practitioner carefully builds up the colour on a client’s scalp using small strokes of a colour pigmentation to ‘give depth and create the illusion of density which was not already present’.
It can be applied to thinning areas or smooth surfaces to give a thicker effect.
The treatment can also be used in a medical capacity to correct scarred or discoloured skin.
Men who are balding will be able to design their very own ‘crew cut’ and women with patchy hair or large partings can ‘improve their appearance permanently’.
JL Aesthetics will also offer facial scrubs, chemical peels, and various anti-ageing skin rejuvenation procedures, which will ‘produce incredible results to skin damage such as wrinkles and fine lines, dehydration and sagging’.
