Double win delight for Accrington

Bobbie, a collapse saw them go from 101-4 to 130 all out, handing Enfield the win.

Rishton are now in sixth in the Phase Two B Division table after losing both of their games during the weekend.

It turned out to be a perfect 24 hours for Enfield, as they picked up another victory after defeating Bacup by six wickets. The match was reduced to 29 overs per side at Dill Hall Lane, with Bacup batting first and struggling.

Profession­al Billy Goldeman was unbeaten on 51, but none of his teammates were able to hit significan­t scores, leaving Bacup on 90-7 at the close of their innings.

Enfield eased to the target with 10 overs remaining, finishing on 91-4 to earn the win.

The two victories for Enfield sees them remain top of the table.

Bacup were then beaten by CHURCH on Sunday, who won the game by two wickets at Lanehead.

Church won the toss and decided to field, with Bacup finishing on a respective score of 203-5 after good efforts from Tim Farragher (59) and Aaron Fielding (55).

It wasn’t enough though, as Church reached the target with two wickets and four balls remaining, after Bilal Abbas’s 53.

Church’s match with Rawtenstal­l was rained off.

GREAT HARWOOD had a really good doublehead­er weekend after winning both of their matches.

They kicked things off with a 25 run win against Colne at Cliffe Park. Great Harwood finished on 150-9 at the end of their 50 overs, with Colne thinking it would have been a reachable target.

It wasn’t to be though, as Great Harwood managed to dismiss them for 125 to come out on top.

Stuart Maher was the top bowler for Great Harwood with 5-20.

It was a more emphatic victory on Sunday, as Great Harwood defeated Rawtenstal­l by seven wickets.

Rawtenstal­l finished 157 all out, with Great Harwood reaching the target in 44 overs, thanks to an unbeaten 72 from profession­al Ashen Silva.
